Batman – Robin Death
The fan vote in for the death of robin was really close. 5343 to 5271. I remember reading this comic and back then it was the darkest thing in comics I had read, the imaginary boundaries where the good guys never die had been broken.
This is a panel from issue 3 of 4 in the ‘A Death in the Family’ run. It’s been as accurately as possible reproduced freehand.
This is an unused/unridden deck with the graphics sanded off and grip tape removed. Some of the old graphics provide the darker areas on the deck – I think this adds to the brooding/gritty/dark theme of the deck.
